MARRIAGE

Hey, welcome to my world,how is life out there?Stress?joblessness?debts?hate?jealousy?etc the list is endless,as humans we are bound to encounter these emotions and as a woman,alot goes on in the heart that is inexpressive.As a mother,i go through the normal orden of bathing,clothing and taking my children to school daily and bringing them home at the end of the day,cleaning my house,wash dirty cloths if there is any,preparing food for the whole family, especially before my husband arrives from the office,so?These i see as a duty,as a young woman i often visualize myself as a good mother and wife and so far i have been able to prove it.I often wonder what is the cause of conflict between a man and his wife?hard times: no money,childlessness,unfaithfulness, the list is endless,what makes a marriage thick is the ability to hand these problems,marriage is for better for worst,not an institution whereby when things are not going on well one person gets the whole blame,some men turns there wives to punching bags in frustration.Man why not find a solution to your problems,beating will not make you the macho,rather it degrades you the more.

I AM NOT A SUPER WOMAN

This is the tittle of a popular music by karyn white,i wonder what goes on in the minds of fellow women when they listen to the lyrics of this song.I really want to understand the situation here,do men see women as instruments? i mean kitchen maids? baby producing machine? something to make love to when his passions are built up?or a punching bag when he is stressed up?The latter is what i am really against,amongst other things, wife battering?whey should a FOOL lift his hands and strike a woman?more so a woman he claims to love? a woman who risked her life bearing children for him?She slaves to make sure his food is well prepared,takes care of his children ....... to say the least.... satisfy his orgies,so?The beating saga have developed into another stage now,in Europe now its stabbing to death,allover Europe the number of women stabbed to death by their ex husband or boyfriend has raised to 10 per day,so? i asked this question WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THIS GENDER WAR?

The quotation above gives a clear meaning of what this blog is all about, a woman’s life and world view. As an African woman my personal opinion is that feminism is an extreme concept (forgive me, this is my personal view) the African woman still want to maintain her husband and children at the same time wants to be heard, she does not want to be the underdog after years of being educated, the African woman want to prove her stance in the society.
